Livin' for the weekend

Well its Friday and in a short while I'll be making my way to Eastbourne for a weekend of frisbee and drinking (not necessarily in that order). I've picked myself up a camera so I'll be taking a "few" (ha!) pictures of the weekend and no doubt writing about it in detail (hey, I need something to fil in the time at the moment). Still no luck on the job front, but I have some leads...... to be honest I tempted to just take out a loan and do something interesting instead but we'll see.

Anyway, gotta get going. Yeah Eastbourne!

That was a busy few weeks

Well things have been pretty busy down here for me since the last time I posted. I've finished my course (passed hurrah!), spent a lot of time with a certain someone, popped up to the lake district for a few days, had a few BBQ's (including a 4th of July party - yes I celebrated Independence day, the things I do for that girl ;-) ).

Anyway, after such a busy (and fun) few weeks, things came to a sudden halt last Saturday when she left Exeter to make her way, eventually, back home to the US. Missing her a lot right now and don't have a lot on at the moment (no summer job, for example) and there aren't many people around Exeter either. It's all rather sad. However, there is a frisbee tournament coming up this weekend to help cheer me up, it should be huge (60ish teams). Maybe the Saturday night party will make me feel better huh?

It could happen.

I finally decided that I wouldn't be able to write for the Exeter City programme this season. I should really have emailed the editor rather earlier than I did but I've been busy and avoiding making a final decision (it also slipped my mind). As I might be travelling for part of the season, and start work in London in Feb/March next year I really didn't think I could commit to it again - plus I had a lot of trouble coming up with ideas last season. I don't think anyone will miss my ramblings! It was nice to see my name in the programme though... ah well.

Anyway, I need to find something to do. Maybe I should read a book... or write one....
