Recovery

Well, my weekend didn't quite go to plan. I ended up going to party with a mate on Friday night. I knew only one person at this party which inevitably for me meant I drank more than I should have. Much much more in fact. I seem to remember having a good time so that's a bonus.

The big problem with this was that I had one of the worst hangovers I've had for quite some time the next day and there was no way I could get the train to London (I think I threw up about an hour after it left.... nice). So I missed the chance to catch up with a load of friends from Oxford, which is really annoying. No one to blame but myself. Bugger. Well, at least City didn't lose!

City's next game is home to Accrington Stanley (Who are they? Exactly!... ah what a classic advert), LIVE ON SKY TV on Monday 30th Jan at 745pm which can be defined as THE BIGGY! Accy are currently 8 points ahead of us at the top of the Conference table, and for me anything other than a win for us means they're pretty much out of reach. While the title wouldn't be totally gone, we'd be struggling to catch them (though I've been a bit more positive in my programme article for the game!).

I'm really looking forward to the game and I'm really enjoying the fact we're involved in a title race for the first time since, well, 1990 when we won the old 4th Division! I just hope we can get our first ever win on live TV in one of the most important league games we've played for years.

Positive thinking required! Hey, it work for me and Rich the other week. The night before our five-aside league kicked off again we had a pint and decided we would play well the next day. Our team won 4-0 and 2-0. There's your proof: PMA is what you ned!
