Me again
Well it's been quite a long time since I've posted here. I've no excuse really as it's the summer vacation so technically I've got little better to do after work. I guess it simply comes down to the fact that I've sort of switched off after my exams and have been feeling a little uninspired when it comes to posting topics. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
Tonight I've just written my first article for The Grecian, Exeter City's matchday programme. It's for the first home match of the season, which is against Kidderminster Harriers on 16th August. We've got another home game on the 20th so I'll have to start thinking about that one soon too. I think its quite safe to say that the first article won't be winning any awards. But I presume they'll get better the more I do. Some friends suggested a few ideas for articles in the pub after a recent pre-season friendly. Considering we'd just lost 7-0 to Bristol City (we're really not that bad!) it was surprisingly good humoured and I'll probably use a few of the ideas that came up, assuming I can find the piece of paper on which they were written: a long drinking session followed and I don't remember much about that night. I need all the help I can get for ideas though as I need to find 25 ish topics to write about (21 home league games plus cup matches).
So if you make it to an Exeter City game this season, pick up the award winning programme (it's a really good one which hopefully won't be dragged down too much by my contributions) and turn to page 14 where my efforts will be located. It'll be a good cure for insomnia.
