General principles of compensation

The heading for this entry is infact the heading for the part of my employment law text book that Ive been staring at for the last few minutes without making much progress. It's not that exciting really. I'll read it eventually maybe. So I did make it to Oxford the other weekend and met up with GK for a few pints on Saturday night, and to crash on the floor of his lovely house. Had a brief chat with Lozza too. Was just a short stay but its always nice to go back. Managed to once again fail leave behind my college frisbee shirt though. I'll get it back to them one day.

So, with the football season over, and the World Cup (woo hoo) not having started yet other sport has been taking my interest recently (besides frisbee and 5-aside of course) - mainly cricket, with England playing Sri Lanka in a 3 match test series (England are 1-0 up with one to play). Also, the French Open tennis is on at the moment with Henman, Murray and Rusedski all playing (Henman won his 1st round match, Rusedski lost and Murray plays tomorrow). Murray's match against Monfils should be very interesting. Murray won their previous meeting last month in straight sets, however Monfils will be pumped up playing in front of his home crowd and seeking revenge for that unexpected (given their relative rankings and form at the moment) defeat. Not sure who to go for to be honest. I'm tempted to plum for Murray, but that may be British pride ruling head though.

Hmm anyway, my teas getting cold and I should do some work. Pah.
